The Marlins will be trying to even the series and keep their recent streak of losing the first game but winning the series alive.

Chris Volstad is on the mound for the Marlins. Volstad has pitched really well recently. In this last 20.2 innings he has only allowed 3 earned runs. In his most recent outing, he went 7 innings giving up 7 hits and didn't allow an earned run. If Volstad's sinker is sinking and he is able to pound the zone down, he will keep the Marlins in the game.

Cole Hamels takes the ball for the Phillies. Hamels has simply been excellent for most of the season. His last outing was cut short when he took a line drive off his hand. But he says he is good to go for tonight's game. Hamels throws a fastball (92 mph), cutter, curve and change. All of them are plus pitches.

The Marlins starting lineup:

Boni, 3B
Infante, 2B
Gaby, 1B
Ramirez, SS
LoMo, LF
Stanton, RF
Buck, C
Petersen, LF
Volstad, P

About the same as last night's.

Ichthyomancy is ready for a real home win.

Best of Luck to You!
