The Marlins are looking for two things out of tonight's game: even the series and stop the losing streak. And both can be done with just one elusive thing: a win.

Ricky Nolasco gets the start for the Marlins. Ricky has had two bad starts in-a-row. Now granted, the last one was a lot better than the previous one, but still, it wasn't what one would expect from Ricky. If Nolasco has command of his stuff, and hopefully he will, he will shut the Braves down.

Derek Lowe takes the hill for the Braves. Lowe kinda got back on track in last start going 6 innings allowing 3 runs and 1 walk. In the two starts before that he walked everyone in sight. He throws a sinking fastball (88 mph), slider, cutter and change. If he is on, the Marlins will pound the ball into the ground. Which is okay as long as they pound them past the infielders. If Lowe can't keep his pitches down, the Marlins should be able to hit him.

The Marlins starting lineup:

Coghlan, CF
Infante, 2B
Dobbs, 3B
Gaby, 1B
LoMo, LF
Buck, C
Boni, SS
Cousins, RF
Nolasco, P

Stanton gets the night off due to the fact he is 1 for his last 14 with 7 strkeouts. And anyway Cousins needs some playing time and it improves the outfield defense.

Ichthyomancy is ready to end the streak.

Best of Luck to You!
