The Marlins are hoping to even the series tonight and put an end to the A's 6 game home win-streak. Oh, the starting pitcher for the A's is Guillermo Moscoso. The preview box has it wrong,
Ricky Nolasco takes the hill for the Marlins. Ricky pitched well in Seattle going 7 innings giving up 3 runs on just 4 hits. But unfortunately giving up 3 runs is the kiss of death for the club since the offense could only manage to get 2 hits and score a run. It's a sad day when the Marlins pitchers have to be darn near perfect to get a win, but alas, that day is upon us.
Guillermo Moscoso gets the call for the A's. Moscoso pitched very well last time out blanking Phillies for 7 innings and only allowing 2 hits. He throws a fastball (91 mph), curve and change. His change is his most effective pitch. He has been known to be a little wild on occasions.
The Marlins starting lineup:
Boni, 3B
Infante, 2B
Gaby, 1B
Ramirez, SS
LoMo, LF
Stanton, RF
Dobbs, DH
Buck, C
Wise, CF
Ichthyomancy is no where close to ready.
Best of Luck to You!
