The Marlins will be trying for a split of the double-header in tonight's contest.
Anibal Sanchez takes the hill for the Marlins. Anibal had a decent outing in his last start. He 6.2 innings while giving up 3 runs on 5 hits. All the runs were via long balls in the 7th. While Anibal has the potential to shutdown the Phillies, he has never had much success in CBP. But since the Marlins are all about changing their luck, maybe this will be the first thing to change.
Roy Halladay takes his turn in the rotation. Halladay was outstanding in his last start. Going 7 innings and not allowing a run. He throws a fastball (92 mph), cutter, curve and change. All of his pitches are plus but he does use the cutter the most.
The Marlins lineup for tonight's game:
Hanely, SS
Coghlan, CF
LoMo, LF
Gaby, 1B
Stanton, RF
Dobbs, 3B
Lopez, 2B
Buck, C
Anibal, P
I guess Edwin had a change of mind and decided to give Infante the night off.
Note: Tomorrow's game is a day game, just letting you know.
Ichthyomancy is ready for game two.
Best of Luck to You!
