The Marlins are looking to even the series tonight and get back to their winning ways.

The starting pitcher for the Marlins is Brian Sanches. The Chief is getting the start for the injured Josh Johnson. Sanches is not stretched out so don't look for him to go much past 5.

Hiroki Kuroda gets the ball for the Dodgers. After putting together two really good starts, Kuroda threw a clunker last time out. He throws a fastball (92 mph), slider, curve and splitter. His fastball and slider have been his most effective pitches thus far this season. He has never won a start against the Marlins, but that doesn't mean his hasn't thrown some good ones.
