The Marlins will play host to the Washington Nationals. The Nats are in town for a three-game set.

Anibal Sanchez takes the mound for the Marlins. Last year was Anibal's best year since becoming a major leaguer. In others words, it was the first season where he wasn't injured for at least part of it. Anibal... boy I don't want to jinx him, let's just say he has been pretty good against the Nationals in the past and leave it at that.

Jason Marquis gets the start for Washington. Marquis on the other hand hasn't enjoyed his outings against the Fish. And the ones at JRS he probably despised the most. Now, watch him do his Cy Young impersonation tonight. Marquis is a five pitch pitcher: fastball, cutter, slider, curve and change. Last season he relied on his fastball less than ever and instead threw more sliders, cutters and changes. I don't if the reason for this is he had an elbow injury, which required surgery, or if he is just throwing his best pitches more. The slider and cutter are his best pitches. I guess we will see.

Donnie Murphy is back in the lineup, but Mike Stanton is not. Emilio Bonifacio will be in center. If you really feel the need to start Boni, and apparently the Marlins do, outfield is the way to go.

Ichthyomancy is set on go.

Best of Luck to You!
