The Marlins welcome the Rockies to town for a three-game set. This is the way to schedule the meetings between the two clubs. Florida in April when it is simple beautiful weather and in Colorado in August when the nights came be quite lovely. It is stupid when it is done the other way around. It always seems to snow in Colorado in April when the Fish arrive and then to South Florida in August where everyone gets to melt from the oppressive heat. Yep, got it right this year.

The Rockies are on a six-game road win-streak and the Marlins have won three in-a-row, so something has gotta give.

Guess what? The game isn't on Television, once again. Kinda hard to build a following when the games are never shown in the local market. If you are going to listen to it on the radio, it is back on 790 The Ticket.

Anibal Sanchez takes the mound for the Marlins. Anibal appeared to find his groove after the first inning in his last start against the Phillies. He still is having some problems with the command of his fastball and curve but that will come. However the slider and change are coming along quite nicely. If he can limit the walks and keep the ball down and in the park, he should do fine. The boy can pitch, it is just a matter of getting the feel for everything.

Jhoulys Chacin toes the rubber for the Rockies. In his last start, against the Cubs, Chacin threw a complete game shutout. He has made three starts this season and has a win for everyone of them. Chacin throws a fastball (90 mph), slider, curve and change with all of them being plus pitches. His slider and curve have been his most effective pitches this season.

Another game, another change in the lineup.

Coghlan, CF

Infante, 2B

Ramirez, SS

Gaby, 1B

Stanton, RF

Buck, C

Cousins, LF

Bonifacio, 3B

Anibal, P

Boni at third, always worries me a bit. But he might do all right and anyways, if you want him in the lineup, he has to play somewhere and the outfield spots are all taken.

Ichthyomancy is looking for game number four in-a-row.

Best of Luck to You!
