The Marlins are going for the series win tonight.
The game has been postponed due to rain.
The Marlins have set their rotation going forward.
The upcoming rotation will now be, Sanchez on Sunday, Josh Johson on Tuesday against the Pirates in Miami. Ricky Nolasco will throw on Wednesday, with Volstad closing out the series with Pittsburgh on Thursday. Sanchez will go on Friday against the Rockies, and then Vazquez.
Hmm, the Marlins are skipping Volstad and the next time he will pitch is on 7-days rest. But it also appears Vazquez has moved down to the five-spot in the rotation. Is that right? It really doesn't matter at this point in the season, with future rain delays, days off and who knows what else, the rotation always gets jumbled.
The makeup game will on June 15 when the Marlins and the Phillies play a day-night doubleheader at CBP.
Anyways, we will try it again tomorrow.
