Three upcoming Marlins English radio broadcasts will not be on 790 The Ticket. Instead you can find the games on WHIM 1080 AM.
Here is the list of days and games that will be affected.
The Florida Marlins today announced that due to programming conflicts on their English radio flagship station 790 The Ticket, a select number of Marlins broadcasts will move to WHIM 1080AM in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale metro area.
The following games will be heard on WHIM 1080AM:
- Saturday, April 16-Marlins at Phillies (7:05 p.m. ET)
- Thursday, April 21-Marlins vs. Pirates (7:10 p.m. ET)
- Sunday, April 24-Marlins vs. Rockies (1:10 p. m ET)
The English Radio broadcasts feature a 30-minute pre and post game show throughout the regular season. Dave Van Horne, who will be honored by the Baseball Hall of Fame as the 2011 recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award later this season, and Glenn Geffner, who returns for this fourth season, call the action from the booth.
Additionally, fans can hear Marlins games throughout the state of Florida on the Marlins Radio Network.
