The Marlins are going for the series win tonight. And they are able to accomplish the feat, it will be their first series win at Turner Field since 2009.

Ricky Nolasco takes his turn in the rotation. Nolasco pitched very well in his last outing. However with it being his second start of the season, the eight inning, 108 pitch effort, may have some lingering effects tonight. Hopefully, it won't. Ricky, in the past, has been a little hit and miss in Turner Field. When he is on, he's great. But when he is having trouble with command the Braves have made him pay. He has the stuff to shutdown the Braves, it will be just of a matter whether he will be able to master his pitches.

The Braves call on Brandon Beachy for the start. Beachy is a young righty who is still looking for his first major league win. He has made two starts so far this season and pitched reasonably well in both of them. Going at least six innings in both allowing a total of 5 earned runs. He throws a fastball, slider, curve and change. In his first two appearances his curve was his best pitch. Beachy doesn't rely heavily on the fastball, so expect to see a good mixture of breaking pitches in tonight's contest.

The lineup is the same as last night's. Which is how Edwin normally does it after a win. You can tell the man played the game, superstitions rule. Got to admit, I would do the exact same thing.

Oh, tonight is the first Watch Party of the season.
