Restaurant Guide for Florida Spring Training

New, 2 comments

Lee Aurelious puts together his restaurant guide for Florida spring training cities and here is what he comes up with for Jupiter.

Jupiter has Roger Dean Stadium, home field of Miami's Florida Marlins. When you're not at Florida spring training watching "The Fish" in action, a great place to eat is the local favorite Jetty's.

This restaurant specializes in seafood and overlooks the nearby waterfront. They have different fish like swordfish and fresh mahi mahi that start at $24. In addition, there is shrimp, lobster, eight different steaks that begin at $20 and different combinations.

Between 5 p.m.-6 p.m. everyday, eight different season specials are only $15.95 each.

Jetty's opens at 5 p.m. every day and closes at 9:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.

Location: Jetty's, 1075 N Hwy A1a, Jupiter, FL 33477
Contact: (561) 743-8166

$15.95 in my book is not a deal. First off, on somedays, I don't wake up that early. Which means I'm looking at $20-24 which doesn't include everything. I'm sure it is good and all. Has any FishStriper been there?

I think the author of the guide and I view dining as part of the ballpark experience completely different. Is there a Checkers in Jupiter.
