Game Today

The Marlins are back home in Jupiter to host the Nationals.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Ricky Nolasco who will be making his Grapefruit League debut. Ricky is expected to throw around 55-60 pitches.

The Nationals will send Jordan Zimmerman to the hill first.

Game time is 1:05 pm.

The game is on FSFL. Which I guess is the start of Rich and Tommy's spring training. Also, if you watch the Marlins on MLB.TV, as I do, you can view it there.  We are getting closer to start of the season.

In news of the day: I loathe spring forward. In more interesting news: Mike Stanton is doing light running. Anibal Sanchez finished a bullpen session, but still felt some discomfort. The guy is a trooper. However, at this point, we don't need troopers, we need him to be healthy for the start of the season. Anibal is someone who needs to be watched. He has a history of trying to play through pain even when it is detrimental to him and the team. Anyone remember his shoulder injury?   At this point, the powers that be believe he will be good to go. And finally, Wes Helms is still not throwing yet, but is available for an AB.

Now, you're caught up. Maybe.
