The Marlins are closing out the season with a four-game set against the Pirates. The Fish need to sweep the series in order to finish at .500 for the year. Sweeping a four-game series against anyone is very hard to do, but it can happen and hopefully it will.
Chris Volstad takes the mound for the Marlins. Volstad is on roll and doing his best pitching of the season. I would go into more detail but I don't want to jinx anything. Chris has never had much luck against the Pirates but things like that don't last forever.
Zack Duke is the starter of choice for the Pirates. Duke's last two starts went reasonably well where he recorded a "quality" start in both outings. The lefty likewise has had his problems with the Marlins. So either something has to give tonight or it is going to be a high scoring affair.
Ichthyomancy is incredibly late.
Best of Luck to You!
