The Marlins are in Atlanta to play three and finish out the final road trip of the season. The Braves are big time in the hunt for the wild card, along with the whomever doesn't win the West. So the Marlins will have a say in who will get the final spot for the National League playoffs. The Marlins have been dream killers in recent years.
Alex Sanabia takes the hill for the Marlins. Sanabia pitched decently in his last three starts and hopefully will do so again tonight. This will be his third start against the Braves and quite frankly, he has had some trouble with them. But like things with Sanabia at this point, he is on the steep part of the learning curve and it just take some time to figure things out. Maybe he has paid his dues will stumble upon the secret to getting the Braves out.
Tommy Hanson is the pitcher of choice for the Braves. Hanson's last start was a good one where he pitched 6 innings of 2 hit, shutout baseball against the Phillies on the road. His last start against the Marlins wasn't nearly as pretty when the Fish rocked him for 7 runs in just 5 innings. If the Marlins can get to him early, it could be a very good night for all the Fish faithful.
Ichthyomancy is good to go.
Best of Luck to You!
