The Marlins are going to try this winning the series thing again.
Josh Johnson takes the hill for the Marlins. JJ has been a mixed bag since the All-Star break. Of course, JJ didn't get a break since he had to pitch in the game. I'm now thinking that any Marlin should never participate in the All-Star game again. JJ has shutdown the Braves so far this season, so hopefully that will continue.
Derek Lowe will toe the rubber for the Braves. Lowe has lost three starts in-a-row, but he didn't pitch badly in any of them. It is just that the Braves offense didn't feel the need to score any runs to help him out. Lowe is a sinker ball pitcher, and if he leaves it up in the zone, good things can happen for the Marlins. If not, it could be a problem.
Ichthyomancy is definitely not ready for the weekend to end.
Best of Luck to You!
