The Marlins are going for the series win tonight and even more interesting, are starting a very late kick for the line. More on this as it emerges, if it does.
Ricky Nolasco takes the hill for the Marlins. Forget what has happened in the past, Ricky is going to try to finish the season on a bum knee. We have no idea what to expect, but this much we do know, Ricky is a fighter and he will give it his all but we will see if his body will let him.
Tim Hudson is on the mound for the Braves. Hudson was his usual talented self for six starts in-a-row until his last start. It's not that he pitched badly, by any means, in his last start but it did show a kink in the armor. Maybe it is the beginning of him wearing down. At least we can hope that is the case.
Ichthyomancy is up and ready to go.
