The Marlins find themselves in Atlanta to play a three-game set against the Braves. The Braves are slumping a bit at the moment having lost three in-a-row.
Chris Volstad is on the mound for the Marlins. Volstad pitched well in his last outing going six innings and allowing only 2 runs. Chris normally holds his own against the Braves, but the long ball has given him problems in the past. If he can keep the ball in the park and his teammates will actually score some runs when he is on the hill, he should be ok.
Tommy Hanson is on tap for the Braves. Hanson had a slightly rough outing against the Cubs in his last start but it really wasn't all that bad. He pitched well in August but wasn't able to get a win in any of his starts since the Braves refused to offer any run support. This may be a low scoring game while the starters are in there.
Ichthyomancy is ready for the weekend.
Best of Luck to You!
