The Marlins are going for the series win tonight.
Anibal Sanchez takes the hill for the Marlins. Anibal was outstanding in his last three starts. Though in one of them the offense couldn't be bothered to score a single run. Since the break Anibal has posted a 3-2 record with a 2.00 ERA and a .201 BAA. Taxpayer Stadium, however, isn't his favorite place to pitch.
Jon Niese is on the mound for the Mets. Another lefty. I didn't know there were so many in the league. Niese is on a roll, in his last four starts he only allowed one run in each of them. As you know, Niese doesn't throw hard but possess a really nice cutter, which I'm sure he will feature tonight.
Ichthyomancy is sitting on go.
Best of Luck to You!
