Andrew Miller gets the call for the Marlins. Miller is starting in place of the ailing Ricky Nolasco. Big Game Andrew will be making his first appearance for the Marlins since being called up from Double-A Jacksonville. Hopefully, BGA will do better in the Bigs than he did in Double-A. Though, I wouldn't count on it. Please, Andrew, please, make me eat my words.
Nelson Figueroa takes the hill for the Astros. Figueroa was claimed off waivers on July 21 when the Phillies were trying to move him to the minors. The Marlins have already faced him once this season when he was still with the Phillies and he threw 2 innings of scoreless relief on April 17. This will be his second start for the Astros. Since he is not stretched out, he probably won't go deep into the game.
Ichthyomancy is really liking this winning thing and has its broom in hand.
