The Marlins are going for the much elusive fifth win in-a-row once again tonight. And should that finally happen for the first time this season, it will guarantee a series win.
Chis Volstad is on the mound for the Marlins. Volstad's last outing was a little rough, but his it wasn't all his fault since the bullpen decided to let all of the inherited runners score. Chris hasn't gone deep into a game in quite sometime but he is pitching at home, the place where he does his best work, so tonight could be different. Or so we hope.
Wandy Rodriguez trots to the hill for the Astros. The switch-hitting lefty is on a bit of a role. In his last five starts he has allowed one earned run or less in all of them. While that is outstanding, he was only credited with two wins for his troubles. Read: the Astros refuse to provide run support. Rodriguez is a much better at home than on the road, but he has given the Marlins fits in the past. So we will see which is the dominating factor.
Ichthyomancy is hoping Ricky is OK while screaming for win number five in-a-row. Lots to do tonight.
