The Marlins are looking to even the series tonight. Did you know that last night was the lowest attendance since the venue has opened? In fact, the three lowest attended games in D'backs history have all involved the Marlins. Apparently we aren't a big draw in Arizona.
Ricky Nolasco takes the hill for the Marlins. Ricky pitched very well in his last two starts. Looks like he is beginning to come around. Ricky is a second half pitcher for whatever reason, and we are in the second half.
Dan Haren is on the mound for the D'backs. He, like all Diamondback pitchers, hasn't had any luck this season. When he throws a gem his teammates don't score. Though you couldn't tell this has been a problem by looking at last night. Haren is normally very tough on the Marlins but the Fish have found a way to be successful more times than not in the past.
Ichthyomancy is ready for some more Midnight Baseball.
Best of Luck to You!
