Cameron Maybin is back in South Florida to have his shoulder examined.
Cameron Maybin is headed to South Florida to have his left shoulder examined. He didn’t hurt it on one play, but the discomfort has been persistent for most of the season. In November, Maybin underwent surgery to repair a partially torn labrum. He was ready for full baseball activity by the start of spring training and it didn’t appear to be giving him trouble while he was with the Marlins.
Shoulders are very complex and injuries can nagged for a very long time. Hopefully, everything will or eventually will be fine.
