The Marlins are looking to ensure at least a split in the series tonight. Also a win will tie for the longest win streak this season at four games. That just hurts to type.
Nate Robertson is on the mound for the Marlins. Ah, another Nate start. Might turn out fine, might not also. There is really no way of knowing until you see it. Historically he hasn't done well against the Rockies but keep telling yourself that the sample size is really small. Expect to see the Hopper take the hill at some point in the game. Then again, Nate sometimes surprises.
Jeff Francis is the pitcher of choice for the Rockies. The lefty, recently, hasn't gone deep into games and is prone to getting rocked. The thing Francis has going for him tonight is that he doesn't throw very hard and given the Marlins history against soft-tossing lefties he may be trouble for the Fish.
Ichthyomancy is running way behind.
Best of Luck to You!
