The Marlins are going for the series win today and it may not be easy. But hopefully it will.
Alex Sanabia takes the hill for the Marlins. Alex pitched pretty well, given a minor hiccup or two, the first time through the order aganist the Diamondbacks, but when they saw him a second time, the bullpen had to be called into action. Sanabia will be on a 80 pitch count for this game, so we will see the bullpen, that's a given. Hopefully, it won't happen in the third inning.
Craig Stammen is the pitcher of choice for the Nationals. In his first start against the Marlins this season, Stammen put up very good numbers, pitching 6.2 innings giving up only 4 hits and allowing only one run to score. But that was not a normal Stammen start, hopefully he isn't one of those pitchers who suck against everyone else but does his Cy Young routine against the Fish.
Ichthyomancy really wants to win the series.
Best of Luck to You!
