The Marlins will be trying to even the series at one apiece.
Josh Johnson takes the mound for the Marlins. This will be JJ's first appearance since pitching two scoreless innings in the All-Star game. JJ has allowed one run or none in 10 of his last 11 starts. In his first start against the Nationals this year, he had a rough outing, well rough for JJ, going 6 innings allowing 3 runs on 6 hits including a home run. Not looking for a repeat of that.
Livan Hernandez in the pitcher of choice for the Nationals. You all remember Livan, right? Livan had some problems in his last start going 5 innings, allowing 5 runs on 5 hits. In his first start against the Marlins this season, he went 7 innings allowing 1 run on 5 hits. That one run was the courtesy of a Hanley Ramirez home run.
Ichthyomany is ready for Super Saturday.
Best of Luck to You!
