The Marlins are in Philadelphia to play a three-game set with the Phillies. The Marlins are presently on a three-game losing streak and hopefully that will end tonight.
Chris Volstad is on the mound for the Marlins. Volstad just needs to keep doing what he has been doing and maybe, just maybe, the Marlins will actually score some runs when he is on the hill. Chis has pitched well in Philly in the past, but Chris' pitching hasn't been the problem in his recent starts.
Kyle Kendrick toes the rubber for the Phillies. We last saw Kendrick on May 28 and did absolutely nothing against him. If it hadn't been for the Phillies kicking the ball around the park, the Marlins wouldn't have scored. Hopefully that was apparition and the Fish will light him up tonight.
