What a day. But time marches on and the Marlins have a game to play. The Fish are looking to win the series tonight as they play the Orioles once again.
Ricky Nolasco takes the mound for the Marlins. Nolasco wasn't sharp in his last outing but wasn't bad either giving up only 2 ER in 6 innings. The outing would've been a whole lot better if he could just learn how to throw the ball to first. But then again, most pitchers have that problem. Ricky can be very good and hopefully will be tonight.
Brian Matusz is on the hill for the Orioles. Matusz has to be winner of the hard luck pitcher for the month of June. He has pitched very well recently and has very little to show for it. In fact, he hasn't won a game in his last 11 starts. The lefty is fast ball, slider, curve, change pitcher. His most effective pitches are his curve and change. In other words, he will probably soft toss the Marlins.
