Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Nationals (5/8)

The Marlins are going for the series win today.

Josh Johnson is on the hill for the Marlins. In his last start, which was against the Nationals, he pitched pretty well. He went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits striking out eight. The only cause for concern were the four walks. I won't go into detail about his history against the Nationals, but let's just leave it at: he has done well.

Matt Chico strides to the mound for the Nationals. This will be his first start in the Majors for the 2010 season. In fact, Chico's last start in the Majors came in 2008. He is basically a soft-tossing lefty who has had some issues with command. Once again, I won't go into detail about his history against the Marlins, don't want to jinx anything, but let's just say, the Fish can't be his favorite team to face.

Ichthyomancy is ready for the day game, but it still hates them.
