The Marlins are looking to even the series tonight.
Nate Robertson takes the hill for the Fish. Quite frankly, Nate hasn't been very good in last two starts. He didn't make past 4 IP in either. Hopefully tonight, he will have some command of his pitches, cutting down on the recent walk an inning average. He has faced the Giants only once back in 2005, so they can't be very familiar with him. Maybe that will be in our favor.
Barry Zito is on the mound for the Giants. As you all know he is kind of a soft tossing lefty and the Marlins historically haven't hit those well. His signature pitch is a twelve to six curve ball which he is throwing more frequently this year. He is off to a very hot start and in fact he hasn't given up a home run yet this season.
Ichthyomancy is thinking it is ready.
Best of Luck to You!
