The Phillies are town, and thankfully I'm not, I mean who wants to sit by a Phillies fan. Anyways, they are here to play three against the Marlins. Hopefully it won't rain tonight. But that may be wishful thinking.
Chris Volstad toes the rubber for the Fish. Volstad pitched reasonably well in his last three starts, though lost them all due to the fact the Marlins didn't give him any run support. If his sinker is on and keeps the ball in the park, he should give the Marlins a chance at winning the game. That is assuming the hitters bother to show up.
Kyle Kendrick takes the mound for the Phillies. The Phillies haven't scored in next to forever and that worries me. But Kendrick got to see it up close and personal in his last start. This will be his first start against the Marlins this season. In the past, the Marlins have hit him pretty well and with any luck, the past will be a predictor of the future.
Ichthyomancy is here. And that is about all it can say.
Best of Luck to You!
