The Marlins are looking to split the two-game series with the Diamondbacks.
Josh Johnson takes the hill for the Marlins. JJ has been pretty much gold in the expansive stadium at home. And to top that off, he is starting to pitch like JJ of old.
Billy Buckner is on the mound for the Diamondbacks. And no, not the Bill Buckner of Red Sox fame. In fact, they aren't even related, but there could be a story behind his name. Or maybe not. Anyways, he was brought up from Triple-A to start this game. So we will either light him up like a pinball machine or make him look like Cy Young reincarnated.
