On the hill for the Fish is Josh Johnson. JJ is starting to come into his own. In his last three starts, he has shown signs of returning to being the absolute dominating pitcher he can be. JJ has had success against the Mets in the past, in fact, opening day of this season was the first time the Mets were able to saddle him with a loss.
Johan Santana is the starter of choice for the Mets. Santana is great and nobody denies it. However his last two starts have been un-Santana-like and hopefully he hasn't solved any of the problems. The key against him is as always, solving that change up of his.
