The Marlins are going for the series win tonight. Winning a series isn't something we have been doing much around here recently.
Ricky Nolasco is on the mound for the Marlins. Same as always with Ricky, if he brings his A-stuff, he is next to unhittable. If not, let's just hope he keeps the ball in the park and battles through it. It would be nice if the hitters could be bothered to actually score some runs when he is on the hill.
The Cubs are going with Randy Wells. He pitched pretty well in his earlier starts this season but has fallen on hard times recently. In his last start he only went 2 innings before Sweet Lou couldn't take it anymore. Wells is a fast ball, slider, change pitcher with the slider being his best pitch. This will be his first career start against the Marlins.
Ichthyomancy is kinda sorta ready.
Best of Luck to You!
