The Marlins have dropped the first two games against the Reds in pretty disturbing fashion, but tonight they get to try again, for a chance to at least split the series.
Chris Volstad will make the start against Homer Bailey, and will attempt to end this little losing streak the Fish have going. Vols did well in his season debut against the Dodgers, but Kuroda was better, and Chris was tagged with the loss. Hopefully he can keep the ball in the park against these homer-happy Redlegs and give the Marlins another quality start tonight.
Brett Carroll was activated from the DL today and is making his first start of the season in RF, and Jorge Cantu will try to keep his RBI streak alive another day.
Ichthyomancy is keeping its fingers crossed for no extra innings!
