The Reds are in town, and if the weather decides to start cooperating, they'll be kicking off a four-game series tonight at Sun Life Stadium, with Ricky Nolasco on the hill against Johnny Cueto.
Ricky is making his second start of the season, which will hopefully end a little better for him than the first one did. Wednesday Ricky left the game in the seventh with a 4-run lead, but didn't end up with the win thanks to a meltdown of the bullpen. It would be nice if the relievers can extend this tiny streak of scoreless innings they've got going, and give Ricky a chance at the W. The defense is also going to need to step it up tonight. Florida leads all of baseball right now with 10 errors, and we could do without the unearned runs, please.
Time to go and cover up my shrine to the Big Red Machine before the game gets underway. (I may or may not actually have such a shrine. It may or may not be located one shelf over from my Burke Badenhop reliquary.)
