Dan Uggla brought home his first Sliver Slugger Award.
Marlins 2B Dan Uggla won a National League Silver Slugger Award, the first time he has received one.
Congratulations Danny!
The award was richly deserved. Danny led NL second basemen in home runs (33), runs batted in (105), slugging percentage (.508) and OPS (.877). It really wasn't even close. It was the eighth time a Marlin has won the silver bat.
