The Marlins are going to try and take the next step in order to secure a winning record at home. It is final Super Saturday of the season. But sadly, it won't be shown on FSFL. Boooo.
Alex Sanabia has been scratched as the starter. He felt some tightness in his forearm in his last start and the Marlins are going with the better safe than sorry strategy. Which is absolutely the correct thing to do.
Jorge Sosa is the Marlins starter. The Marlins will be going with the start by committee. Hopefully Sosa will be able to give the Marlins several good innings to start things off.
Charlie Morton is on the mound for the Pirates. Morton has had a season to forget, however, his last three starts were ok outings. Morton is four pitch pitcher: fastball, slider, curve and change. His slider is his most effective pitch.
Ichthyomancy is good to go.
