The League Championship Series starts tonight and first up is the American League version. The Texas Rangers will be playing host to the New York Yankees.

Should be an interesting series in that, I think, the two teams played even in the regular season splitting the series 4-4. The Yankees don't hit lefties well and the Rangers two best pitchers are southpaws. However, the Yankees have been to the Championship Series many times and this will be the Rangers first go at it.
