The Marlins are going for win number two in the series and one step closer to .500.
Adalberto Mendez makes the start for the Marlins. Mendez's last start was a real clunker, that is unless you were sitting the outfield bleachers in Miller Park. Hopefully he will be back to his solid start ways. Obviously, he has never faced the Pirates before.
I don't know who is starting for the Pirates. It will either be Daniel McCutchen or Pat Maholm. Maholm would make more sense since McCutchen has been working out of the pen. We will see who shows up on the hill.
