The Marlins are ready to try to do the once unthinkable, win a four game series in Cincinnati.
Sean West is the starter of choice for the Marlins. West has won his last three decisions. He was excellent in last start going 6 innings, giving up 6 hits, 1 run and striking out a career high of 9. West is strangely better in day games than the ones at night.
Kip Wells goes to the hill for the Reds. The Marlins haven't face Wells since 2007 when he was a member of the Cardinals. He still is the same four-pitch pitcher but he is relying more on his fast ball (92.3 mph) this season. Wells also does better during the day. Lefties, unsurprisingly, generally do better against him.
Ichthyomancy is ready for the normal Sunday day game.
