Rick VandenHurk is on the hill for the Fish. The nice thing about Hurk is he normally goes five inning. If he can ever figure out how to spread 100 pitches out more judiciously, he might be on to something. The Incredible Hurk normally pitches well against Atlanta.
Javier Vazquez trots to the mound for the Braves. Vazquez has been his usual good self this season, but sometimes the Braves can't find in themselves to score any runs when he takes the hill.
