Volstad takes the hill for the Fish. This will be Volstad's last chance to actually go more than five innings in the month of August. And to do that, he has got to keep the ball in the park which is something that has evaded him so far this season.
Correia is on the mound for the Padres. With the exception of his last start, Correia has been pretty solid this last month. He is your basic fast ball, slider pitcher who does throw a curve and a change to mix things up.
