The Marlins are going for the series win tonight in a game that features two 22 year-olds facing off on the mound.
Chris Volstad is on the hill for the Marlins. Volstad got back on track in last start going five innings giving up one run on four hits but he did walk four. The run scored on another, what now seems requisite, home run. Volstad will be looking to spread his 100 pitches out over more innings than just five innings. And hopefully, keep the ball in the park.
Tommy Hanson is tonight's starter for the Braves. Hanson has put together two very good starts in-a-row. In his last outing he went six innings giving up 2 runs on six hits and walking no one. Hanson can be hit but he is pretty adept at stranding runners. I guess pitching out of the stretch doesn't bother him at all.
Ichthyomancy is poised and ready.
Best of Luck to You!
