Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Astros at Marlins (8/10)

The Astros are in town to start a four-game set with the Fish.

The Incredible Hurk will take the hill for the Marlins. Rick had tough outing in his last start lasting on four innings, giving up 5 runs on 7 hits that included 3 home runs. But that was against the red hot Nationals who nobody can do anything with at the moment. VandenHurk has never faced the Astros.

Big Moe trots to the mound for the Astros. You remember Moehler, he was with the Marlins in 2005 and 2006. He mainly worked out of the pen for the Fish but was called upon to make several starts. Moehler throws a huge assortment of breaking pitches to go along with his 87.6 mph fast ball. Here of late, he isn't walking anyone.

I always hate it when the Marlins play the Astros.... no not divided loyalities, I'm a Marlins fan through and through. The reason I hate it is I get blacked out and can't see the games. Hold it, I just checked the listings and I do get tonight's game. Yay me! Will see about tomorrow's.

Enough about that, Ichthyomancy is glad to be back home and is ready to roll.
