Hanley Ramirez and Josh Johnson All-Stars

As you all know by now, Hanley Ramirez and Josh Johnson were selected for the All-Star game.

For the eighth time in nine years, the Marlins will have multiple representatives at the All-Star Game. In addition to Hanley Ramirez, who will start at shortstop for the second consecutive season, Johnson will join him on the National League squad.

Ramirez becomes the first NL shortstop to start back-to-back All-Star Games since Edgar Renteria (2003-04). He finished with 3,218,917 votes, almost a million more than Phillies counterpartJimmy Rollins, to become the first Marlin to win the fan balloting multiple times.

Hanley is the first Marlin to be selected to start in the game in back-to-back years.

Congratulations to both Hanley and JJ!
