The Marlins completed the series win against the Pirates taking 2 of 3.
Ricky Nolsaco was dealing, pitching 8 shutout innings giving only 3 hits, walking 2 and striking out 12. The Bucs never had a chance.
In the 2nd and 4th the offense was on the verge of very big innings, but they never really materialized. The Marlins did score 2 runs in each of those innings, but it could've and probably should've been more. But then again, to win this one the Fish only need one run.
All in all, it just another routine Marlins win.
