The Marlins need to win the last two games in order to split the series.
With that said, who better than Josh Johnson to send to the hill. This ought to be an interesting outing for Johnson in that he is going on an extra day of rest and he spent his All-Star break doing all the hoopla.
Blanton is a fast ball (89 mph), slider, change type of pitcher who also has a show me change. His last two starts were excellent giving up only one earned run, in 14.2 innings of work. Time for that to end.
