At the time I am writing this the game stats thingy is all screwed up, so I will go it alone.
Chris Volstad will be trotting to the hill for the Marlins. Volstad in his last start, finally got his sinker back on track and his command of his other pitches returned. In other words, he looked pretty good. The Rays have never seen Volstad before.
Scott Kazmir is going to make the start for the Rays. This will be Kazmir's first start since going on the DL for right quad strain on May 21. Kazmir is a lefty and a very good one. He hasn't faced the Marlins since 2006.
Game time is 7:08 p.m.
Ichthyomancy is looking forward to the weekend.
Best of Luck to You!
