The Marlins are in New York to take on the Mets.
(Note: I'm just writing stuff and hopefully I will have time to come back and fill it in or change it, as the case may be.)
West will be making his second start for the Fish. His first one went reasonably well, however it did take 91 pitches to get through 5 innings. West is a talent but whether he ready for the majors is still up in doubt. He has got the stuff, the issue is command.
Pelfrey has pitched well of late, with the exception of the 3 balks in one game in San Francisco. Really you almost have to admire that, that is hard to do. Pelfrey hasn't had much luck against the Marlins recently.
Ichthyomancy would like to remind the Marlins players -- Take the 7 Train.
Best of Luck to You!
