If you watch the games on MLB.tv there is a change this year, MLB has dropped Microsoft's Sliverlight.
MLB.com no longer uses Microsoft's Silverlight to stream games to its 500,000 subscribers. This season fans will watch live, on-demand video via Adobe's Flash player.
Thank God!
I don't know if Adobe Flash will be the answer to all of our out of market prayers, but there is no way it could be worse.
I missed the first week of last season trying to watch it using Sliverlight and I finally unistalled that piece of sh.....junk.
Maybe, just maybe, MLBAM (Major League Baseball Advanced Media) actually did something to improve the out of market viewing experience.
Time will tell.
